If you love Mexican food…El Jalapeño

If you like Mexican food, there is a place you can’t miss, it is called El Jalapeño and its placed in Cuzco area, in Madrid.

Quality, great treat and amazing price are only a few words to describe our experience in this resaturant, in which as soon as you enter you can perceive the Mexican culture in all its magnificence, not only for the cute interior design (which we loved with its colourful chairs and its selves full of products) but also for the treat received, as it was incredibly attentive and kind.

It is a quality cooking with authentic ingredients and tastes imported from Mexico. Its menu is very varied, offering Nachos (highly recommended in its large version), fajitas, flautas, enchiladas, chilaquiles, tacos, burritos… Our personal recommendation is the Alambre (same to the fajitas but with cheese) and the Mexican Lasagna (here is the only place in Madrid where you can find it). About the beverages, don’t doubt it and order a “Modelo”, a typical Mexican beer with an amazing flavour, even for those not quite into beer, or for some delicious Margaritas. And please leave room for dessert! Because they are not only good in salty plates, you just have to try their brownie or their crepes with whipped cream and cajeta (Dulce de Leche / Milk Caramel) and your palate will shake of pleasure.

So if you still don’t have plans for the weekend, don’t doubt it and book!!
